Great Tang: I Asked You to Teach, Not Lead a Rebellion

He transmigrated to the Tang Dynasty and became Li Kuan, the “unhinged” Prince of Chu.

Helpless, Li Shimin dumped a whole batch of troublesome princes on him to manage. “As long as they stay alive, teach them however you like!”

After binding to the [Truth Education System], Li Kuan looked at the trembling crown prince and smiled with chilling benevolence.

“What is the Analects? It teaches you how to lay down the law with the local toughs!”

“Having heard the Dao in the morning, one can die content in the evening, if you find out where someone lives in the morning, they’ll be dead by night!”

“A gentleman who isn’t stern commands no respect, if you don’t hit hard, you’ll never earn their respect!”

And so, the Tang Dynasty’s entire way of life went off the rails.

Crown Prince Li Chengqian: “A leg injury? How about an exoskeleton suit? Turks, don’t run! I’m coming to earn some combat credit!”

Prince of Wei Li Tai: “The throne? Think bigger! I’ll use ‘everything in range is the truth’ to bomb Goguryeo off the map!”

Prince of Wu Li Ke: “Third Brother said that as long as our fists are big enough, everyone under heaven is a Li brother!”

A year later, Li Shimin inspected their fiefdoms. Seeing his band of princes turn all the neighboring kingdoms into “the Tang Dynasty’s backyard,” he broke down on the spot.

“You little devils! I told you to teach them propriety, righteousness, integrity, and honor! Who told you to take them out conquering kingdoms for extra credit?!”
