Su Yun obtains the Fate-Reversing Simulator, which lets him transmigrate through the river of time and help heaven’s favored daughters, who are doomed to die young, defy fate and change their destinies.
To claim the highest rewards, Su Yun uses every means at his disposal in the simulations:
In the heartlands of the demon race, he carves a path through the enemy for a fallen empress, then dies of exhaustion;
On the battlefield between the righteous and demonic factions, he takes a fatal sword strike for the demon cult’s saintess, his soul vanishing into oblivion;
Beneath the tribulation lightning of ascension, he helps an ordinary girl destroy her mortal body and become an immortal, while he himself turns to ashes.
At the end of each simulation, he simply waves his sleeves, takes the rewards, and leaves without a trace.
Su Yun: “It’s all just a simulation anyway. The more horribly I die, the higher my score, and the harder they’ll find it to forget me.”
Until one day, the Empress of the Nine Heavens crosses worlds, holding his remains, a simulation prop, her eyes bloodshot. “I’ll search from the highest heavens to the deepest underworld until I find your true soul!”
One after another, the Sword Immortal, the Demon Venerable, and the Dragon Girl emerge from seclusion, all vowing to find their husband.
Su Yun, who has been quietly cultivating immortality in the real world, panics. “Stop looking. I’m not quite dead yet… Wait, don’t come any closer!”
