Xing is my given name, and Ta is a suffix. You can call me Xing Ta if you like. I took one character from Black Tower's name and modeled the combination after Ruan Mei's. You ask why I don't have the surname Hei? Hei Xing sounds awful, doesn't it? Besides, is Black Tower really surnamed Hei?
About Black Tower:
Foster mother? Teacher? Simulated Universe partner? Senior member of the Genius Society? I don't mind what I call her. She doesn't care how I address her, and most of the time I just call her by name.
