Apocalypse Stories All Feel the Same. I'm Numb to Them
I want to read something like "A Zombie's Hiking Diary". Are there any novels where the protagonist was originally from that world, with no transmigration or rebirth? I'm seriously out of things to read.

Seriously, Are There No Apocalypse Stories Worth Reading These Days?
Apocalypse stories these days all seem to have the same plot: the protagonist's girlfriend or boyfriend betrayed them in their past life, or led their whole family to kill them. Then the protagonist comes back with a space or special abilities, and starts killing as soon as the apocalypse hits. The early chapters are okay, but the story gradually gets brainless in the middle and later parts.

This book is well written, but the title is a bit ordinary. If you don't read it carefully, you would think it is a funny book. In fact, the plot of the story is very interesting. It is a narrative novel set in the end of the world. It has sadness and joy, and the characters are very vivid and interesting. Sometimes I laugh, and sometimes I am moved to tears. I really think it is a good novel. 😘
There seems to be a story behind this journey. It seems to be a flashback technique, recalling the past through the red mist. I am very curious, why is the protagonist possessed by a monster? Generally speaking, the characters involved in it are very vivid and spiritual. Although it is said that there are two male protagonists, it feels more like a group portrait.
