Honkai: Star Rail: Starting as Mara-Struck Yanqing, Trapped by Aha

Amid the bustle of a convention, Yan Qing and Bai Lu wore cosplay outfits of the Mara-Struck General Yanqing and the Dragon Lord Bailu. What should have been an immersive celebration of their characters turned chaotic when Aha, arriving from the future, intervened and transformed their fictional props into real ones. In the confusion, the spear in Bai Lu’s hands accidentally left Yan Qing gravely wounded, and Aha then hurled them both into the world of Honkai: Star Rail.

In a world that was both familiar and strange, their wounds and shock had barely begun to settle when they had to face its rules and dangers. As they searched for a way back to reality, they were moved by the unfinished regrets and unresolved stories in this world. The things that had once left them aching in the game might now be theirs to change with their own hands. Two “actors” from the real world would step onto the Astral Express’s path in unusual roles, writing their own story in another world as they sought both salvation and a way home.
