"Yesterday Rain, Today Sunny" tells the story of two young people trapped by fate and scars - Lin Yumian, who bears the burden of the family, and Gu Yanche, who bears the family's expectations. They get close to each other amidst misunderstandings and attractions, but are forced to separate in the torrential rain of reality. In three years, they grew and transformed on their respective battlefields, and finally learned to pick up the courage in the broken past, and for a late but complete reunion, they personally built a "clear sky" that belonged to each other. This is a story about youth, loss and self-reconstruction. It is also a long journey of learning to hold an umbrella for yourself after the rain, and finally holding an umbrella for the other person.
