Amid the turmoil of the martial arts high school graduation exams, natural leader Ling Ran brings together six gifted boys through sheer passion and a strong sense of responsibility: Shen Yan, a cool, calculating strategist hiding family secrets; Qin Lie, a hot-tempered martial artist who fiercely protects his friends; Su Mufeng, a gentle and gifted medical prodigy; Lu Zhiyao, a tech-obsessed hacker genius; Jiang Ye, a nimble and unpredictable reconnaissance expert; and Gu Yu, a focused and dedicated master blacksmith.
United by their dreams, the seven stand side by side through their high school evaluations before officially forming the Hunter Edge hunter squad at the martial arts university. They grow closer with every perilous mission, becoming partners who would risk their lives for each other. Ling Ran’s unmatched charisma makes him the heart of the team, while Shen Yan, behind him, sheds his façade and uses his astonishing strategic brilliance to carve a path forward. Their bond, too, grows ever stronger amid the smoke of battle.
From school to the hunter world, from obscurity to fame, they endure the covert attacks of oppressive families, withstand the sieges of rival teams, and break through the deadly traps of international criminal organizations. Graduation is not the end, but the beginning of an even greater journey. With a heart devoted to protecting others, Ling Ran expands the squad into the Hunter Edge Army. Shen Yan becomes its strategist behind the scenes, and each of the seven takes charge of their own role as they lead the army against outside threats and protect their country. The dreamers who once burned with youthful ambition become guardians who hold the fate of the world in their hands amid an age of chaos.
