The City's Heavenly Eye: Starting with Seeing Through the Stock Market

In a world divided by candlestick charts and capital flows, Lin Yue is just another ordinary retail investor. He lives in a subdivided apartment in a run-down Shanghai neighborhood, keeps his trading account afloat with online loans and credit cards, and has sunk most of his money into a volatile stock called Sheng Shang Sheng. He's been repeatedly fleeced and can barely afford his rent.

After accidentally suffering carbon monoxide poisoning, he wakes up with the ability to “see through things” and “see for miles.” He can look through walls and electricity meters, and even see into offices in distant high-rises, where he can view other people's stock holdings and chat logs, and even discern the real intentions behind certain financial players.

When he discovers that his landlord has illegally tapped into his electricity meter, he realizes for the first time that many “hidden tricks” become crystal clear when viewed from a different angle.
