The Tale of King Wu's Campaign Against Zhou

King Zhou of Shang was born with extraordinary gifts and the strength to defeat ten thousand men, yet he sank into the charms of the bewitching consort Daji and plunged into an abyss of tyranny! He built wine pools and meat forests, and devised punishments such as roasting people over fire and drowning them in pits of snakes and scorpions. He cut open pregnant women to determine the sex of their unborn children and cracked bones to examine their marrow. His atrocities shook heaven and earth, arousing the fury of both gods and men!

The virtuous and benevolent Marquis of the West, Ji Chang, spread kindness throughout the land, yet was imprisoned for seven years, while his own son was cooked into meat paste! Jiang Ziya fished with a straight hook, patiently awaiting the true lord, and at last helped King Wu of Zhou raise an army to overthrow Zhou! Strange signs appeared in the heavens, and divine generals such as Lei Zhenzi and Yin Jiao emerged. Demons ran rampant, and the clash between immortals and mortals was about to erupt!

Was this the cycle of Heaven's law, or the will of the people? A war between gods and demons that would overturn a dynasty, an epic tale of bloodshed and turmoil. Open this book and see how a tyrant falls and justice returns to the world!
