A Promotion Story from the Underworld Studio

Su Que died, only to be told she’d died by mistake?!

Su Que and a dozen other unlucky souls become bugs in the Book of Life and Death. The Underworld has an unusual solution: stay and work there, star in the short dramas written by the King of Hell, and earn points to trade for a next life.

Fine. Even dead, she still has to work.

She rises from playing an extra to starring as the leading lady, but both onstage and off, she has her eye on a special coworker. His acting is so divine that he’s practically a legend, yet he is a soulless “puppet soul.”

Then she gets the lead role, and love sinks into her very bones. The Judge tells her, “Want to make him human? You can, in exchange for your soul.”

Without hesitation, she submits her application. But he, always flawless on set, stumbles over his lines for the first time and tells her, “Don’t... do it.”

Their mutual sacrifice awakens laws sealed away in the Underworld for ten thousand years. Our story truly begins only after the furnace is restarted.
