A Heart Stirred After Marriage: Mr. Ling Is Trying to Win His Wife Back

Su Nian and Ling Yan have been married for three years, yet they're like strangers.

By day, she's the neglected young madam of the Ling family and her nephew Ling Yihang's tutor, earning a meager salary while putting up with everyone's scorn. By night, she lounges in Qingyuan Villa, which he designed himself, cuddles his beloved dog, and sleeps on his custom-made sofa, all without Ling Yan knowing a thing.

Three years ago, the Ling family's patriarch forced them to marry to bring good fortune. Ling Yan never accepted the marriage. He thought he'd married a vain, greedy woman. He gave her the title of Mrs. Ling, but ignored her completely. Then one day, he saw on the surveillance footage that the timid woman from daytime could hit the bull's-eye from a hundred meters away and swiftly take down three bodyguards. Only then did he realize he'd never really known his wife.

When he handed her divorce papers, expecting her to cling to him, she signed without hesitation and walked away with a carefree smile. “Our three-year contract is up, Mr. Ling. Farewell.”

At that moment, Ling Yan panicked. Too late, he realized this woman had already made a home in his heart, without his knowing, in the house he'd designed himself, and in every corner of his life.

From then on, the aloof Mr. Ling begins his long journey to win back his wife:

“Come home, honey.”

“Mr. Ling, we're divorced.”

“Then let's get remarried.”

“I refuse.”

“That's fine. I've got all the time in the world to win you over.”
