Awakening of the Sacrifice’s Silver Lock: I Slaughtered the Evil God Beneath the River for My Father

The whole town sent me to the altar in the middle of the river as a sacrifice. The moment the red cord tightened around my neck, the silver lock on my wrist suddenly grew hot!

It was a keepsake my father left me before giving his life to seal the mark. Hidden inside was a long-lost secret art for ferrying bones across the river.

A sea of bones churned beneath the river. The evil god's scarlet eyes broke through the surface, and the townspeople laughed madly. "The sacrifice is complete! The evil god has emerged!"

I clenched the scorching silver lock and drew my brass hand shovel, pointing it toward the middle of the river. "My father protected you all for ten years. Today, it's my turn to take his place... and slay the god to avenge him!"
