Beneath the Immortal Execution Platform, I Shattered the Divine Court of the Nine Heavens

When they drove spikes through my pipa bones, they thought they were executing me. They never knew they were breaking a seal.

The instant the origin of chaos awakened, I saw through the greatest lie of the Nine Heavens Divine Court: the so-called Heavenly Dao was nothing more than a wisp of ash left behind after higher beings had finished their meal.

The Immortal Execution Platform was not my execution ground, but my incubator. The gods were not my judges, but my first source of nourishment.

When I set out with my blade, the Holy Maiden of the Blood Phoenix burned the Divine Court's blessing and came through the flames. “How lonely it would be to kill gods all by yourself.”

From then on: If gods bar my way, I slay them. If Heaven stands against me, I kill Heaven. If rules bind me, I shatter them! If the player looks down on me from above, I overturn the board!

But when I had cut down the entire Divine Court and shattered the starry river, and finally stood before that ultimate shadow, it slowly turned around, revealing a face exactly like mine.

“Welcome,” it said with a smile. “I've been waiting for you to betray me.”

[So my greatest enemy is... myself, perfect, cold, and merciless.]
