Demon Slayer: Still Trying to Survive Today

Pairing: Muichiro Tokito x Kamado Yusaki (original female lead)

After waking up from a suicide attempt, Yusaki discovers that she seems to have transmigrated into the world of Demon Slayer. Tanjiro's parents take her in, and she becomes the eldest daughter of the Kamado Family.

Though the Kamado Family lives in poverty, they are all wonderful people. Yusaki gradually opens her heart, and just as she starts to believe that her peaceful, happy life will last forever, a beautiful white-haired woman comes to the Kamado home and makes her an offer:

“Yusaki, I know this is rather presumptuous, but I sincerely invite you to join the Demon Slayer Corps and help us slay demons.”

For various reasons, Yusaki agrees to Amane Ubuyashiki's request and joins the Demon Slayer Corps.

After training, creating her own Breathing Style, and passing the Final Selection, Yusaki finally becomes a Demon Slayer Corps swordsman. Just as she is about to write home with the good news, she learns of a terrible tragedy...

Content warnings: At the start, Yusaki has already been healed by the Kamado Family. There will be flashbacks to her past life later on.
