In this world, where lives vanish like grains of sand and the abyss echoes, my plants can kill... and save lives, too.
This is the “World of Plant Tamers.” Since the first page of human history was written, the “Abyss,” a nest of zombies, has never known peace. Zombies crawl out of its fissures, etching terror deep into the bones of generation after generation.
To fight the zombies, humanity learned to wield the power of plants. Those who do are known as “Plant Tamers.”
But power comes at a price: all Plant Tamers bear the curse of backlash.
As they control plants, the plants gradually transform them in turn: flowers bloom on their skin, their hair becomes vines, and their whole bodies slowly turn into strange plants.
With gifts stained by blood, the Plant Tamers built their defenses. But the fissures in the Abyss continue to widen, and the zombies keep evolving. Darkness still envelops the world.
Then, about two hundred years ago, a figure almost worthy of a miracle tore through the curtain of despair.
A legendary Plant Tamer appeared out of nowhere. At humanity's darkest hour, when its very survival was at stake, he fearlessly charged into the depths of the Abyss.
In the end, he used his withered bones as a wedge and his flesh and blood as a lock to seal the Zombie King at the bottom of the Abyss.
From then on, the Abyss fell silent. Humanity could finally catch its breath and rebuild a flourishing world atop the ruins.
In later generations, he was revered as the “Saint.”
But even the Saint's bones will eventually decay, and the seal of his flesh and blood will weaken.
Humanity, too, refuses to sit idle. Its exploration of the Abyss has never ceased.
Generation after generation, Plant Tamers venture into this layered kingdom of death, striving to find a chance at survival before the seal shatters completely, or perhaps... a new “Saint.”
Compared with the previous book, it is definitely an improvement. There is no situation where the protagonist goes crazy at the beginning. I hope the author will continue to work hard. I will give it four stars first, mainly because I am afraid that you will be too proud.
Good looking Lao Ying is awesome!
