Until about two hundred years ago, an almost miraculous figure tore through the curtain of despair. A legendary plant master suddenly appeared, and at the darkest moment of human existence, he bravely entered the depths of the abyss. In the end, he used dry bones as wedges and flesh and blood as chains, sealing King Zombie at the bottom of the abyss. Since then, the abyss has been silent. Humanity was able to take a breather and rebuild prosperity on top of the devastation. Later generations will respect him as a "saint". However, when the saint's bones eventually decay, the seal of flesh and blood will also loosen. Human beings do not sit still and wait for death. Their exploration of the abyss has never stopped. Generations of royal plant masters have gone deep into this layered kingdom of death, just to find a glimmer of hope before the seal completely collapses, or... A new "saint".
