Commander, Your Wife Is Here with the Kids to Join the Army

A village woman with a child arrived at the military housing compound in Ancheng. They said she was the family of the cold-faced Commander Lu Zhanting. But she had neither a permit to live with the troops nor any family benefits. Everyone saw her struggling to make ends meet with a five-year-old child, shabby from head to toe, and believed Commander Lu Zhanting couldn't stand her! Who could have guessed she was a woman of hidden talents? Not only could she cook delicious food, she even opened a shop. She didn't rely on anyone or play the victim. She made her life better through her own efforts! What shocked everyone most was how Lu Zhanting seemed like a different person after she arrived. Before, Commander Lu was always out early and home late, with nothing on his mind but training and military affairs. Now he came home on time every day. Later, Commander Lu even carried over some warm pastries and knocked on a neighbor's door, asking them to look after his pregnant wife from time to time.
