Anya's Mind Reading Doesn't Work on Me

A Spy x Family fanfic

When the mind-reading Anya meets Lillian, the only classmate whose thoughts she can’t hear, a spy comedy of mutual misunderstandings begins. The two girls grow together amid lies and sincerity.

Lillian, a Westalis spy, infiltrates Eden Academy as the “daughter of a diplomat.” Her mission is to observe the children of the elite, but she ends up focusing on the lively pink-haired girl, Anya Forger.

Reason one: her father is the legendary spy Twilight.

Reason two: Anya can always predict everything with her “incredible intuition.” Lillian attributes this to “the early training that comes with growing up in a family of elite agents.”

Anya, on the other hand, sees Lillian as a miracle: she is the first person in Anya’s life whose thoughts she can’t hear. She doesn’t have to worry about exposing her mind-reading ability or pretend to be innocent. She can truly be an ordinary child, as long as Lillian doesn’t discover her secret.
