The Honghuang Code: Passing the Torch

The thirty-six Sages of the Primordial Era suddenly departed, leaving humanity one final divine oracle: “Civilization has come of age. There are no proctors in the exam room.” When the protective barrier that had stood for three thousand years faded away, we discovered that the real test had only just been handed out.

Across three eras, three guardians face the same choice: use their extraordinary powers to save one person, or let go for the sake of millions? Is freedom still freedom when you willingly put on the shackles of “optimization”? And beyond the wall the Sages built before their retreat, unsettling sounds are drawing near.

This is the most dangerous coming-of-age ceremony in the history of civilization. There are no standard answers, and no gods to bail us out. Every choice defines whether we deserve this freedom, or will ultimately become the very thing we fear most.

The Primordial Era, the past, and the future converge here. As the torch passes into our hands, will we light the way ahead, or burn ourselves to ash?
