In 2025, Li Changge was eating braised pork when he unexpectedly fell into the hell on earth that was 1944: the 46th day of the Defense of Hengyang!
Ammunition and food were running out, and corpses littered the ground.
He watched a veteran with a severed arm stare at his braised pork, unable to close his eyes even in death.
He heard General Fang's final radio message with his own ears: “See you in the next life!”
“Damn those Japanese devils!” Li Changge roared from the trenches.
When he returned, still reeking of blood, he found himself in the highest-level command center of an Eastern Theater exercise!
Confronted by a ring of gun barrels, Li Changge raised the bloodstained military flag in his hand and shouted:
“I’m Li Changge! I need to report top-secret information! The 10th Army can barely hold on! Requesting a full-scale bombardment! Requesting reinforcements!!!”
At that moment, the machinery of the state roared into action!
When modern combined-arms brigades arrive outside Hengyang, we will accept no surrender in this battle!
