The apocalypse arrives, and he is forced to become a survivor. For thirty-five years, on a wasteland overrun by zombies and plagued by treacherous people, he battles and bargains with all kinds of “fellow humans”: idealists, ruthless warlords, mind controllers, and mad technologists. From standing alone to building a community, from a fight for survival to a battle of ideals. In the end, he and the other survivors use their scars and sacrifices to build a rust-stained yet unshakable fence. It keeps out the zombies and protects the last glimmer of humanity.
