The Cold-Faced Officer's Secret, Sweet Marriage

Xu Jingwan is a factory worker at a machinery plant. Her mother's serious illness forces her to sign a three-year secret-marriage agreement. The cold-faced military officer Lu Tingzhi marries her to silence the rumors. They each have their own reasons, and after the wedding they sleep in separate rooms. She lives in a leaky apartment, is ostracized by her coworkers, and has to write a “marriage report” every day to satisfy the organization's inspections. He sends her grain coupons, fixes her roof, and shields her from investigators, using his uniform to give her a safe haven. Their fake marriage gradually turns into real affection. The taciturn officer claims it's all part of the mission, but his actions show just how doting he is. What begins as a marriage of convenience becomes a true love match.
