A Fateful Marriage: The Forensic Doctor's Wife's Secret Battle

Top forensic expert Su Yubei transmigrates to 1978 after an accident, becoming Su Yubei, a lovesick nobody in the military arts troupe who was slandered as having “loose morals” and pushed into a pond to die.

Relying on a forensic examiner’s cool, rational instincts, she survives, exposes the villain’s lies on the spot, and vows to clear her predecessor’s name and take ruthless revenge.

To prove her innocence, she submits a request for a medical examination, unexpectedly catching the attention of Gu Yanshen, the cold and steely commander of a reconnaissance battalion. Gu Yanshen carries the burden of an old battlefield injustice and has also been framed. He sees that Su Yubei is unlike other women and knows she is in danger, so he proposes an alliance through a “marriage of convenience”: he will keep her safe, and she will use her forensic expertise to help investigate various cases.
