A cold, upright beauty vs. a vain, money-loving romantic
Shu Yuan accidentally discovered Lu Yingchuan’s secret: all along, Lu Yingchuan had only treated him as a substitute for another man.
Shu Yuan beamed. “What a lucky break!”
“President Lu, here’s the bill for everything you’ve used me for over the past five years. Would you settle it?”
Lu Yingchuan said, “Two million a year until he comes back.”
Knowing that the substitute only cared about money, Lu Yingchuan felt perfectly at ease keeping him around.
Shu Yuan was responsible for looking beautiful, while Lu Yingchuan signed the checks. They each got what they wanted, and neither got in the other’s way.
But as time passed, the more Lu Yingchuan looked at Shu Yuan, the more annoyed he became. This substitute was enjoying life far too much!
He wouldn’t give Lu Yingchuan a coat when it was cold, wouldn’t even bring him fruit when he was hungry, and on top of that, he had something to say about everything Lu Yingchuan did. Did he have no professional ethics as a substitute at all?!
Attacking is super strong, receiving is both responsible and established.
Not bad 🙂
The writing is very good and the mind is clear.
