Spirit Affairs Bureau: My Soul Is SSS-Rank

[Vast Worldbuilding + Leveling Progression] [Episodic Story + Faction Conflicts + Mythological Projections] [Growing Through Adversity + One Female Lead + Epic Length]

I’m Lin Xiao, seventeen years old, with late-stage congenital liver fibrosis. The doctors say I won’t live to see twenty.

To earn money for medicine and help support my family, I dropped out of school and started selling grilled sausages outside the school gates. I thought I’d spend the rest of my life counting down the days.

Then, after an unexpected incident, a man in white who called himself an “Executor” came to me. “The power awakening inside you is called ‘psychic energy.’ It’s your only hope of staying alive, and the only reason you’ve become a target.”

But no one knew this, not even me: my soul was the dormant remnant of creation, asleep for 13.7 billion years.

To stay alive, I joined a massive organization called the Spirit Administration Bureau. If I could rise to a certain position, I’d have a chance at survival. On the surface, I was a temp handling urban supernatural cases. In reality, I was using my newly awakened power to fight powerful, unknown enemies.

My KPIs: solve soul-loss syndrome, suppress calamity beasts, and dismantle experimental networks.

My coworkers: a teacher descended from a mythological figure, and friends who would risk their lives for me.

My enemies: an organization called the Eternal Eye, which aims to overthrow the existing order of the universe.

And I have less than three years left.

But behind me are my family, my friends, and her.

So, I have to succeed in these three years!
