The Root Digger [Chronicles of the Wall Watch]

[Serious Attack on Titan fan fiction] The Root-Digger: What if saving the world means getting your hands dirty first?

When Eren chose destruction and Mikasa chose to protect one person, Karl Richter chose a third path: dig for the truth and reform the rules from within a decaying system, using calculation and politics to protect the most ordinary everyday life.

🔍 Highlights:

▸ Original protagonist: A disabled former Garrison soldier who uses his intellect and blueprints as weapons, searching amid political intrigue for “hope that doesn't mean destroying the world.”

▸ A rigorous blend: Faithfully follows the original timeline while delving deeper into wall science, a century-old conspiracy, and politics beyond the walls.

▸ A realistic battleground: The story's focus isn't the war against the Titans, but conference rooms, archives, and underground laboratories: arenas where people and institutions struggle for power.

▸ Complex relationships: He shares Eren's ideals, yet stands against him; with Mikasa, he forms a subtle but unwavering bond amid the flames of war.

This isn't a heroic epic. It's the story of a “root-digger” searching for a way to make a seed bloom in a world destined for tragedy.

📖 Ongoing. Welcome to the real battlefield beneath the surface.
