Eighteen Years of Swordsmanship in the Eastern Palace, From the Start I Slay the Valkyrie

[Classic fantasy, invincible hero, battle between humans and immortals]

After transmigrating to the Great Shang Dynasty, Zhou Yuan spent eighteen years as its “Crown Prince.” He was supposed to inherit the throne in due course and become emperor, but who could have guessed that the Great Shang's eight-hundred-year fortune had already run its course?

The royal family was torn by infighting, foreign threats came from every side, and ministers civil and military alike harbored their own schemes.

Then, one day, the gates to the Immortal Realm swung open. A Valkyrie descended to the mortal world, treating the royal family like dirt and the common people like livestock, intent on destroying Great Shang.

On the walls of the imperial capital, the old emperor cursed the immortals, willing to stake his life on proving that humanity could triumph over heaven.

That day, the Crown Prince's cry of “Sword, come!” shook the heavens and earth. With a single turn of his hand, he slew the Valkyrie who had dominated the world, and shattered the gates to the Immortal Realm.

From then on, the sky split open, and immortals fell.

The True Lords of the Dharma Realm raged, while the Emperors of the Cloud Realm looked on in alarm. All sought to crush this mortal who dared defy heaven and slay immortals.

Zhou Yuan stood with his hands behind his back, his feet treading across the four seas and eight wildernesses, his gaze fixed beyond the nine heavens.

“The immortals will not protect the mortal world. I alone will hold up the sky.”
