I'm a Scrap Collector, and the Nation Begs Me to Stop!

Dumped by his girlfriend and drowning in debt, Zhang Fan unexpectedly activates the System of Origin Tracing.

A broken bowl, [System valuation: 5 million. Information: A unique Ru ware piece from the Northern Song Dynasty. It will be smashed by a mischievous child in three hours.]

An old newspaper, [System valuation: 100 million. Information: It contains the only clue to a long-unsolved serial murder case.]

A broken-down game console, [System valuation: 100 billion. Information: Its chip architecture is a crucial prototype for future artificial general intelligence.]

From then on, Zhang Fan rockets ahead on his scrap-collecting journey.

Ex-girlfriend: “You're just a scrap collector. How can you afford a Lamborghini?”

Zhang Fan: “Oh, it came free with a load of scrap.”

Archaeology team: “Please, stop collecting! If you keep this up, the entire archaeological world will be out of work!”

National Security Bureau: “Comrade Zhang Fan! Stop collecting that piece of scrap metal immediately! It's the wreckage of an alien spacecraft!”

As the whole world goes mad, Zhang Fan quietly lights a cigarette. “I never meant for things to get this big. I just wanted to collect scrap in peace.”
