Deep in the clouds and mists of southwest China, there is a legend that "nine mountains and eight seas are among the living tombs". The protagonist, Chen Xu, appears to be a restorer of ancient buildings, but is actually the last descendant of the ancient "Shou Ling Family". His family's mission is not to rob tombs, but to repair, strengthen or even rebuild those ancient tombs that are about to expire, ensuring that certain things "enclosed" inside will never appear in the world. He believed that some tombs were special prisons built by ancient people at the expense of their wisdom and lives.
