Dream of the Red Chamber: Jia Yingchun's One and Only

My name is Lin Sijun, and I am Lin Ruhai's son in the Dream of the Red Chamber. My father was ordered to clean up the salt trade, and the salt merchants poisoned my mother and me. I survived that crisis, but my mother, Jia Min, did not make it and left us forever. Fearing that my sister Lin Daiyu and I might be targeted again, Father wrote to our grandmother at the Rongguo Mansion, Grand Madam Shi, asking her to take us in temporarily. Grand Madam Shi then sent Jia Lian to bring my sister and me, along with all the Lin family's property, to the Rongguo Mansion. The homes of the nobility are deep as the sea, and living under someone else's roof is no easy thing. I must protect my sister, study hard, become an official, and help Father clean up the salt trade.
