Overworked office drone Lin Xiao accidentally ate a tea egg containing fragments of Nuwa’s Sky-Mending Stone during an all-nighter. He unexpectedly became an “Investiture of the Gods completion agent,” but was bound to a bug-ridden System. Its Mythology Translator went haywire, translating divine speech into workplace jargon. The Three Realms had already descended into workplace chaos because the Investiture of the Gods list was incomplete: the Jade Emperor demanded PowerPoint presentations, the Old Lord livestreamed hair-loss prevention cream, and Meng Po’s soup stall had become a bubble tea shop. Lin Xiao’s completion abilities came with nothing but ridiculous side effects, and whenever he traveled between the Three Realms, he kept ending up in the wrong place. Worse still, fragments of his sister’s soul were attached to a crucial piece, and the villain was collecting the fragments to resurrect Chiyou. Lin Xiao had no choice but to form an alliance of psychics, recruiting an underachieving employee from the underworld and a greedy Dragon King. Armed with the logic of an office drone, he took on the mythological rat race, patching up the Investiture of the Gods amid one ridiculous escapade after another while searching for his sister. In the end, he settled into a life half office drone, half immortal.
