Rose of Doom: Days of Future Past

In 2035, the earth was suddenly attacked by "scarlet spores", a type of spore cloud originating from extraterrestrial meteorites, which upon contact will transform living things into bloodthirsty monsters. The spores simultaneously caused global climate anomalies and geological turbulence, and the old order collapsed. However, a small number of humans did not mutate after being infected. Instead, they awakened "source energy" - a supernatural power derived from the origin of life.
