Nanchuan University’s campus was especially lively today. The girls streamed into the auditorium, chattering as they went, dressed in their finest. It was another graduation ceremony, but this year’s seemed a little different. Word was that the school had invited Ye Chengnian, the son of a board member and future heir to the Ye Group, to present diplomas to the outstanding students.
In the height of summer, leafy green canopies stretched along both sides of the campus paths. Liu Luoyin was on her way back to the dormitory. She still had a few things there that she hadn’t moved out, so she had returned for the graduation ceremony today and planned to take them with her as well.
