After working through the night and dropping dead, I transmigrated into a... deer.
Not just any deer, either. I became a wild deer spirit from The Legend of Luo Xiaohei, born with the constitution of a “spirit of nature,” the kind that sprouts flowers from its antlers. Staring at the reflection of a white fawn in the water, I fell into deep thought. Other people transmigrate and take the world by storm. Am I supposed to start a wholesome, all-natural, eco-friendly wellness lifestyle?
That was until I “found” a hungry little black cat in the forest.
“Um... I’ll support you, and you deal the damage?” I tried using my newly grown antlers to make berries sprout, then awkwardly pushed them in front of Xiaohei.
From then on, the style of my life in another world took a sharp turn. I traveled with Luo Xiaohei, learned to control spiritual energy from the mighty Wuxian, and got my fur petted and snacks pushed on me by all sorts of spirits at the guild. I became the “team medic” with my modest healing ability and the “scout” by communicating with plants. When Fengxi’s incident unfolded, I firmly stood with coexistence. I might only be a support player, but the teammates I choose and the world I want to protect have never changed.
“Lin Yao, what’s your ability?”
“Probably...” I looked at Xiaohei playing around beside me, the serene Wuxian, and this gentle world. Tiny flowers bloomed on my antlers.
“To heal wounds, help kindness grow, and make this place feel more like home.”
This is the story of an office worker who transmigrates into a deer spirit and decides to lie flat in Luo Xiaohei’s world, only to be swept up in warm bonds along the way. What’s wrong with being support? Healing and protecting are the gentlest powers of all.
There is no lively feeling of a child in the description of Xiao Hei. I just feel that he has a sense of calmness and sophistication that he has been honing in the wild for a long time. It is not like the settings in cartoons and movies. He is very caring for the protagonist. When I saw the "Wind Breath Group" appearing in the article, I felt something was wrong. Also, the description of Luo Zhu did not look like the gentle original image. He looked like a gangster, wearing a mask and going to the club to confront each other alone. I kind of accepted the incompetence. I don't know where the author read the plot. The whole process seemed to be watching another completely different parallel world. There was no sense of wanting to see the protagonist go into the original work to rescue the troubled one. Did the author conceive a new timeline and character relationship by himself 🤦
So far, what I have seen is a new plot, a new setting, and a different timeline. I think it shouldn't be considered a real fan of Luo Xiaohei's War Chronicles
