You Ditched Our Marriage License Appointment, So Why Are You Crying Now That I Married Your Uncle?

Shen Qingli and Shen Yize had been engaged for three years.

At last, the day she had long dreamed of, the day they would register their marriage, arrived.

But Shen Yize stood her up on the very day they were supposed to register, going to the hospital with his first love for her prenatal checkup instead.

Shen Qingli saw the man for who he really was and didn’t look back.

She withdrew every bit of affection she had for him and sold off everything connected to him.

She made up her mind to end the engagement.

Shen Yize didn’t take her seriously. “She’s just playing hard to get. Before long, Shen Qingli will come crawling back and beg to get back together.”

But he never imagined what would happen next.

In the end, the news he received was that she had married someone else.

Still arrogant and high-handed, he insisted, “Shen Qingli is crazy about me. How could she possibly marry another man?”

It wasn’t until Shen Yize accidentally caught Shen Qingli pinned against a wall by Lu Qi’an as he kissed her passionately that he finally fell apart.

Later, Shen Yize got dead drunk and knelt before her.

“Qingli, I was wrong. Will you come back to me?”

Lu Qi’an rushed over, pulled Shen Qingli into his arms, and kicked Shen Yize away.

“You think you can call her Qingli? Call her Auntie instead!”

They thought it was a case of falling in love after getting married.

Until Shen Qingli uncovered Lu Qi’an’s secret.

Only then did she learn that she had always been the woman he cherished most, his cinnabar mole and moonlight.

Some feelings, once stirred, can never be taken back.
