Her Genes Lie

Not a purely sweet romance

Two formidable people clash and save each other; neither is innocent

The genetics science includes fictional elements. Don’t dwell on the details; the logic serves the emotions

Entropy City, an abyss of fame and fortune, stands atop a forest of white bones, its false temple of genetic technology reaching skyward.

Sang Wan, Song Qizhou’s “stepsister,” is living proof of his mother’s betrayal and his mother’s only “keepsake.” He keeps her imprisoned in a gilded cage, watching her day and night.

He waits for her to slip up; she lures him into the abyss. Their embraces are for stealing genes, their kisses for decoding lies. In this hunt born of calculation, each believes they’re the hunter.
