When mythology becomes a programmable algorithm, the world enters its most extravagant twilight. Archaeologist Lin Jian possesses a "blank divine spark," a one-in-a-hundred-million anomaly capable of bearing the gods of all heavens without collapsing. That makes him the "ultimate vessel" coveted by three factions.
Kunlun Tech wants to turn him into a human server and restart civilization. The high-dimensional "Narrative Administrators" see him as a system error that must be deleted. And he chooses a path no one has ever taken: negotiating with his divine spark, signing contracts with concepts, and filling the destiny script written by the Administrators with improvised acts of rebellion. So, while taming the floods, he negotiates a cut with Yu the Great; when facing the God of the Sea, he brings fine liquor to the feast; and atop Mount Everest, he joins representatives of global civilizations to submit the "Variable Rights Protection Agreement." His teammates are even more outrageous: a mad philosopher, a panda hero who runs a hotpot restaurant, and a mysterious girl who always leaves notes at the bottom of her cup.
This is a story about how mistakes can create a new world. When the sky tears open and the gods descend upside down, the young man with golden contract markings in his left eye and shifting silver light in his right raises his head and smiles at the author who controls fate:
"Your script is excellent, but now, it's time for the supporting characters to write their own endings."
I haven't seen a book like this for a long time, and I look forward to the next development.
