"A noble lady vs a lone wolf general"
· Heroine: Cui Li, on the surface she is a lady from a declining noble family who is proficient in poetry and painting, but is afraid of light due to her eyesight disease; in fact, she is a "blind" detective with a superior sense of hearing and smell who holds a lantern to search for the truth after her brother's tragic death. Her lamp illuminates the ghosts of people's hearts.
· Protagonist: Li Xuan, a general of the Beiya Imperial Army who had great military exploits but was marginalized because of his humble background. Cold as iron, he met the woman with the lantern because of an unsolved case. Her wisdom shocked him, and her fragility made him want to protect her.
· Story core: The two went from using each other to fighting side by side, uncovering a huge conspiracy that could overthrow the dynasty. Carrying a lantern, from illuminating the road, to illuminating each other, to illuminating the entire dark night of Chang'an.
