A Strawberry-Scented Route to Salvation

[School Life + Secret Crush + Mutual Feelings + Healing + HE]

Su Jinyan was sent to the countryside soon after she was born. From then on, her grandmother was her whole world. But after her grandmother passed away, Su Jinyan's life changed completely.

When she was nine, she met her biological parents for the first time. From then on, her life included a mother who played favorites and a father who drank too much.

Then, in her final year of high school, she transferred schools, and the arrival of Ye Huainan was like a ray of light shining into her world.

She thought they were meeting for the first time, never realizing they were actually meeting again.

He pulled her out of the depths of despair time and again.

“Have you ever heard of the Milky Way?” he asked.

Su Jinyan gave a small nod.

“Do you know what the Milky Way is made of?”

Su Jinyan looked up and met his gaze head-on.

“Stars,” she said, her lashes trembling as she looked away.

“To be precise, it's made up of countless stars.”

“But even as they make up the Milky Way, each one is a whole, independent star.”

“And so are you. You're whole and independent.”
