The Demon-Slaying Sword Saint and the Cloudborne Sage

In a world where magic is everything, the one and only sanctum, the Ivory Tower, stands among the clouds.

Rest is a good-for-nothing with no magical power. Armed with nothing but an iron sword and a promise made in childhood, he earns a place at the Academy of Magic. Everyone laughs at him, except for the sage girl above the clouds.

Felice, the youngest sage in history, gazes day after day through her crystal ball at the stubborn figure swinging his sword below the tower. Her composure is a mask, and countless times her fingers have clenched tight when he puts himself in danger.

The gears of fate shatter during an examination. A demon lord's avatar, summoned by a forbidden organization, tears through space, making all magic pale in comparison.

In their desperate hour, Rest's sword begins to tremble.

His bloodline awakens, and his memories return. The last magic swordsman's power becomes a single slash that cuts through the darkness, stunning the world and illuminating every lurking shadow.

From then on, their intertwined destinies surge into motion:

· He struggles in the abyss, bearing the name of “heretic” as he unlocks the lost Ashen Blade techniques and investigates the truth behind his clan's annihilation.

· She plots among the clouds, using her authority as a sage and her peerless wisdom to clear the way for him, while challenging the rules and conspiracies of the entire world.

He swings his sword through the mire, cleaving a path ahead; she keeps watch from the summit, weaving the future.

When the complete demon lord descends and all magic fails...

Only the ordinary iron sword bearing all the longing of those above the clouds can become the first ember to tear through the endless night.

“I’m here, Felice.”

He stepped over the wreckage and stood before her, smiling just as he had before.

“My sword can reach you now, can’t it?”
