[Transmigrate into a Book + System + Wild Imagination + Sneaky Schemes + Utter Absurdity + An Unorthodox Journey to the West]
Lu Xun, an overworked office drone who lost his job after a coworker set him up, complains about how Tang Sanzang broke his promise to the old turtle in Journey to the West. To his surprise, he gets bound to the Obsession Ferrying System and is kicked straight into a realm of Journey to the West obsessions!
He’s barely landed when he runs into Great King Linggan, who is abducting boys and girls. He manages to drive the demon away with a beginner’s demon-slaying talisman, only to turn around and find himself cornered by the old turtle himself. Caught complaining red-handed, Lu Xun has no choice but to accept the old turtle’s commission. With his life-bound turtle shell for protection, he keeps an eye on Great King Linggan as the demon returns, while uncovering the secrets of the obsessions behind Journey to the West.
Was there more to Tang Sanzang breaking his promise? Was the old turtle’s obsession really about shedding its shell? When an office drone’s resentment collides with a thousand-year-old turtle’s obsession, this journey to ferry the souls of Journey to the West is bound to be a complete madhouse!
