As a staunch atheist from the 21st century, forensic examiner Su Jiayin somehow transmigrates in a thoroughly unscientific turn of events. She finds herself in a bridal sedan on her way to her husband's home, set to take her older sister's place and marry Mei Ruofeng, the Dali Temple Minister rumored to be ruthless and cruel.
Su Jiayin: Is it normal for transmigrating to come with a husband included?
But a horrific murder takes place during their wedding ceremony…
A physician with all four limbs broken, four charred corpses, the mysterious death of the eldest son of the Grand Minister of Agriculture… Was it an accident, or was someone behind it?
Why do eerie songs keep coming from the imperial tombs, and why are people who enter suddenly engulfed in flames?
Who is plotting all these strange events from the shadows?
Watch Su Jiayin and Mei Ruofeng join forces to solve the cases and unravel their enemies' schemes.
