[Backrooms setting (lots of original worldbuilding) + no romance + System + adored by everyone]
Just a moment ago, Lu Yao was cooking. Then he looked up and found himself at a crime scene: an unfamiliar house, the heavy smell of blood, and an unknown monster. Lu Yao had fallen into the twisted world of the Backrooms. Fortunately, he awakened a System.
“Wait, System, where is this?”
[Host, this is an infinite-flow instance~]
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
[Host, you're currently in an apocalyptic world~]
“So what kind of world is this now?”
[Hehe~]
Content warnings:
1. The protagonist is mainly adored by nonhuman creatures.
2. There is a ton of original worldbuilding, so this isn't a pure Backrooms story.
3. The story mostly takes place in the Backrooms, but the protagonist will occasionally visit other worlds.
It's okay. After all, it's the first novel about the back room theme that I've seen. Generally, the requirements for a novel about a new theme that I haven't seen before are relatively low. As long as there are no big loopholes in the plot logic, the character portrayal is barely passable, and there are no big surprises overall, it's fine. Of course, my book review is not very valuable for reference. You have to see it with your own eyes [Chigua]
The author's writing is very good
