Spy War: Bloody Revenge

On August 13, 1939, in Shanghai, Ye Pengfei’s father was killed by the traitor Chen Deliang and Japanese officer Saito Isamu. Ye Pengfei narrowly escaped the same fate when his uncle, Ye Mingxiong, deputy director of the Kuomintang Military Affairs Office, rescued him. After four years of training at a Kuomintang special training camp, Ye Pengfei was desperate for revenge. With his uncle’s help, he went to Chongqing to hunt down Chen Deliang, now a powerful collaborator who had once gone by the alias Chen Zijie, and Saito Isamu. But as his revenge unfolded, he discovered that these were far from his only enemies. Joining forces with underground operative Lin Changfeng, he gradually realized that Chongqing, this wretched little city, and the events of that year were far more complicated than they seemed.
