The Doomsday Chosen

Happy ending, bottom-focused, one-on-one, outwardly warm but inwardly cold top × outwardly cold but inwardly warm bottom

Serious in tone, with a touch of everyone-falls-for-the-protagonist. Later on, there will be a dark transformation and forced love. It’s probably a story of mutual salvation. The writing is at an elementary-school level, and the focus is on wild ideas.

One day, humanity awakened to its own “archetype” and gained the ability to wield all kinds of supernatural powers. These people came to be known as “the Qualified.”

In Xincheng, a cold city of the future, Wei Ye is one of the Qualified, facing the dilemma of choosing his future at eighteen.

Should he go on living an ordinary, unremarkable life? Or follow the whispers from the shadows into a brand-new existence?

Before he could choose, he was swallowed by the surging undercurrents and swept into the real future. But at least in this terrible world, Wei Ye still chooses to believe in hope.

A few rambling thoughts:

I’m really into forced love, size differences, yanderes, dark transformations, possessiveness, and deviance, and I don’t mind messy relationships. But since this is a serious story, those elements won’t feature too heavily. Feel free to skip anything that makes you uncomfortable. Comments are welcome, thank you, meow.
