One Piece: Kuina's Ultimate Staircase

Kuina, a glass cannon in the world of Pirate King, where everyone can do sit-ups, is astonished to have been killed by a staircase.

One sleep-deprived college student can’t understand it at all.

Then, while grumbling and heading out to feel his way down the stairs in the dark,

he meets with a stroke of misfortune that turns out to be a stroke of luck.

After falling to his death on the stairs, he is chosen by the Supreme Staircase System.

He is matched with Kuina, who also yearns for strength but was killed by a staircase.

Along with him comes a Door-Door Fruit.

So Kuina follows the memories of her previous life, as well as the System’s hints.

She takes a bite of the Door-Door Fruit, overlooked in the original story, and smiles with confidence.

From then on, the Pirate King world gains a mysterious, grinning woman who’s clearly lost her mind and can slash out blades of light. Kuina earns the nickname “Demon.”

According to the World Economy News Paper: Wherever she goes, Kuina, president of the Hunter Association, always carries a stack of newspapers. Anyone who dares offend her is minced into meat by blades of light that appear from nowhere, along with a van full of people, at her barked command: “Freeze!”
