This isn't a wish-fulfillment novel, and there are no golden fingers. It tells the story of ordinary man Wang Lun, who unexpectedly transmigrates into Wang Lun, the original leader of Liangshan. Armed only with fragments of historical memory and his own hard work, he faces the heroic tragedies of the Water Margin world and the humiliation of the late Song. Unwilling to stand by and watch those heartbreaking tragedies happen again, he uses his modern knowledge and ability to anticipate fate to maneuver among the heroes and lay plans in secret. As “Wang Lun,” he tries to rewrite their tragic endings and carve out even the smallest chance for a different future in a chaotic age.
