When a street punk gets his hands on a supreme treasure of chaos, the entire Primordial World goes completely off the rails.
On the night of his twenty-first birthday, Lin Gou spends fifty yuan at a street stall on a dull gray bead. He thinks it’s just an ordinary birthday keepsake, until a lighter cuts his finger at a KTV and his blood drips onto the bead…
The souls of twelve troubled teenagers are dragged into the churning blood pool in Pangu’s Hall.
When he opens his eyes again, Lin Gou has become Dijiang, the Ancestral Wu of Space. His buddies, who started hustling in society after graduating middle school, have become the other Ancestral Wus, controlling water and fire and manipulating time.
The inheritance of the Chaos Pearl in their minds makes it perfectly clear: it is a supreme treasure of chaos, containing a world of its own. It can traverse space and time, conceal the secrets of Heaven, and is also the one that escaped the clutches of fate: the sole variable under the Heavenly Dao of the Primordial World.
The Primordial World, fresh from the Dragon-Phoenix Tribulation, should have been a stage for the struggle between the Wu and Yao and the schemes of the sages. But what happens when twelve Ancestral Wus who refuse to play by the rules start wandering everywhere…
Buzhou mountains fell, Xuanhuang wept with blood. The Eye of Heaven appeared in the void, locked onto the Lich battlefield, and lowered invisible suction force in an attempt to extract merit and luck. However, eleven dim but tenacious golden wheels of merit suddenly lit up above the heads of every witch clan, echoing the roar of the six paths of reincarnation deep in the earth! The voice of Empress Pingxin (Houtu) came from Jiuyou, cold and calm: "The Wu clan guards reincarnation, regulates yin and yang, and contributes to heaven and earth. Its soul has entered the earth, and its merits have turned into the foundation of reincarnation. This is the destiny of heaven." The Eye of Heaven remained silent, and finally slowly disappeared. It calculated everything, but unexpectedly, the Wu clan took its "principal" (opening merit) and the whole clan jumped to the "company" (tunnel) next door and became partners. The end. Not finished yet!
