This is a strange detective story of the Republic of China, set on the beach, and integrating elements of Chinese mythology such as "Journey to the West", "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", and "The List of Gods". Fired patrol policeman Chen Xiao was involved in a mysterious case with a dead Buddha in the river who was accused of being a "gold-nosed white-haired rat spirit", and was even called the "Golden Chanzi" in his last words. He holds a dagger that can hurt monsters, and strange golden patterns appear on the wound on his left arm. In the shadow of the city where monsters are rampant, he is forced to embark on a path to explore his own destiny and solve myths and mysteries.
