A Four-Year-Old Finds Hidden Treasures in the Compound and Builds a Nuclear Aircraft Carrier

The 1980s, the Gobi Desert in the far northwest.

While Lei Lie is taking down a human-trafficking ring, he spots a little girl among a heap of filthy children, using a piece of wire to pick the lock on her handcuffs. She doesn't cry or fuss, and her eyes are vacant. But when his gun jams, she reaches out a dirty little hand and, in just three seconds, takes it apart and puts it back together blind, fixing it for him and even adjusting the rifling!

Lei Lie is stunned! This isn't an orphan, she's a treasure of the motherland!

He brings her back to the military compound, and everyone assumes Lei Lie has picked up a burden. Then one day, a commander's Jeep breaks down on the road. Four-year-old Manman crawls underneath and clanks away for five minutes. The clunker comes roaring out at Ferrari speed!

From then on, Lei Lie has to watch out not only for spies, but also for commanders from every military district and academicians from the Academy of Sciences sneaking over the wall in the middle of the night to steal his little girl!

“Lei Lie! Your daughter fixed our retired fighter jet! She even added stealth coating!”

Lei Lie is at his wits' end. “Sweetheart, you can't take that apart! That's the grandpas' oxygen tank... No, that one's off-limits too, it's the launch button for the Dongfeng Express!!”
